Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette Review + Swatches + Tutorial

My sweet tooth got the best of me and I purchased the Too Faced Sugar Pop Sugary Sweet Eyeshadow Collection! The collection comes in this adorable tin packaging, adorned in colorful macaroons.

Inside is a collection of 9 unique shades, a how-to glamour guide and a large mirror. 3 shades are organized into 3 looks, sweet and spicy, sugar plums and candy coated.

(Malted milk ball, macaron, rock candy)

Malted milk ball is a bronzed brown with gold glitters while macaron is a bright coral like peach with champagne glitters. Rock candy is a light cream with champagne glitters as well. These glitters tend to fallout especially in malted milk ball so a patting technique or light hand is best used when applying.

(Strawberry ice, sugared violet, blackberry)

Strawberry ice is a pastel lilac with a shimmery finish. Sugared violet is a deep blue based purple with tiny micro glitters and BlackBerry is a gorgeous deep plum with a matte finish. BlackBerry is my favorite of the 3 and can be used in several looks due to its subtle hue.

(Peach fuzz, bubblegum, blue raspberry)

These are the most fun, bright colors of the collection yet they can be used together in one look. Peach fuzz is similar to rock candy but just a tad more yellow. Bubblegum is a deep bright fushcia with glitters that don’t seem to stick around after application. Blue raspberry is a vibrant light teal, almost mint shade.

The color payoff for these shadows are very good. I had issues with fallout from the dark shades, however all the shadows are easy to blend and smooth. Not powdery.

I decided to be brave one day and did a very bright eye look using the shades from the candy coated row and macaron. I also used some nuetral shades from my tartelette palette to blend. I used a teal eyeliner in my waterline for some extra pazzaz!

Overall I had alot of fun with this palette. I have done several looks with it and am still playing around with it. It’s perfect for colorful spring and summer looks or if you just want to use one shade to make an eye look pop! Are you brave enough to try a bold look this summer?
